ACS772 is an automotive grade 200KHz bandwidth current sensor IC packaged in Allegro's proprietary CB. It provides a wide current detection range (50A to 400A) and achieves very low power consumption through its 100 μ Ω internal resistance in the conductive path. ACS772 achieves the highest performance in the CB packaging series, with an accuracy of+/-2.1% throughout the entire IC lifespan from room temperature to high temperature. A response time of 2.5 μ s can achieve overcurrent fault detection in safety critical applications, while enhanced electrical isolation can reduce material inventory. It can be powered by a 5V single power supply (ACS772) or 3.3V (ACS773).

ACS772 is an ideal choice for automotive applications such as OBC, DC/DC converters, and inverter control, as well as industrial applications such as motor control, load detection and management, and power supply.

This sensor is provided in Allegro customized CB packaging, which has a very small footprint, lower ICC, and higher accuracy compared to the current sensor modules provided by competitors' solutions. ACS772 has a response time of 2.5 μ s, which is the fastest response time IC provided in the custom Allegro CB package.
